报告题目：Mathematical Models of Pattern Formation in Cell Biology

报告摘要：In this talk, wegive a quick introduction some theoretical and computational results on pattern formation in the context of cell biology. Theoretically,we will introduce both 1) PDE and dynamical system and 2) Group-theoretical points of view, to indicate the underline relation among bifurcation theory, symmetry breaking and biological pattern formation. Computationally,wewill carry out some simulations of pattern-forming systems, most of which reveal multi-scale and highly nonlinearity nature of biological models.
